I began blogging for BigThink.com in May, 2012, at “Moments of Genius.” The blog initially discussed creativity, intelligence and art and received over 300,000 page views in the first year. In the spring of 2013 I broadened the theme of the blog and began writing about judgment and decision making and well-being. I’ve also incorporated more philosophy. The New York Times and BPS Research Digest have mentioned Moments of Genius. I stopped writing for BigThink.com at the end of 2013 to focus on a new project – 250Words.com.
WhyWeReason.com is my previous blog where I wrote about a wide range of topics in cognitive psychology. I started the blog in June, 2011, and it received nearly 30,000 pages views a month at its peak (March ’12). It was mentioned in NYTimes’ The Stone, 3 Quarks Daily, The Browser, Ed Yong’s Not Exactly Rocket Science, The Daily Beast, Eric Barker’s Barking Up The Wrong Tree and the Farnamstreet blog. It was also the recipient of two Editor’s Selection from ResearchBlogging.com. Here is a link to the archives.
